If you have ever fancied running the rapids on a river, then this is the course for you. You will learn a lot, do a lot of paddling and if you are not superhuman your muscles will be aching by the end of the day!  We will include a flat-water session to practice your basic paddling skills before going on to the adrenaline-pumping white water for the rest of the afternoon!  We usually include sweep strokes, edging, low brace supports, low brace turns, reading river hazards, breaking in/out, ferry gliding, route choice and equipment choice.

This course is always tailored to the participants, and we reserve the right to change the programme where necessary.

This is the fast track to moving water!  You'll start off on flat water to develop your basic paddling skills, before progressing to moving and white water for a taste of the power of the river.  You will then learn how to transfer these skills to develop your basic white water paddling proficiency, allowing you to enter and exit out of the flow (breaking and and out) move the boat across the flow (ferry gliding), and more!

We supply buoyancy aids, helmets and wetsuits, you need to bring trainers or wetsuit boots, swimwear and a towel.
